The numbers worth watching first
Early on, a few numbers say more than any dashboard. Write them down once a week, even in a notebook, and the trend will show itself.
- Net revenue per week, after the platform’s share and refunds
- New subscribers, and which link or post they came from
- How many fans renew at the end of their first month
- How many fans have bought pay-per-view at least once
What can wait
Comparing yourself with other creators, complicated funnels and testing every hour of the day can all wait. With a few dozen fans, one good or bad day swings everything; decide on weeks, not days.
Habits that pay off later
Use one tracking link per promotion and name it so you still understand it in a year. Keep business money separate from personal money. Be clear about what fans get before they pay. These cost little now and make every later decision easier.
When a dashboard starts to help
erscope works from the first payment, and the first report arrives soon after your data does. With only a few fans, the free calculators and guides may be all you need for now. The dashboard becomes more useful as sales add up: which fans pay, which content sells and who is about to leave.
